Balleteatro

Balleteatro was born in Porto in 1980, founded by Jorge Levi with Isabel Barros and Manuela «Né» Barros: the first contemporary dance company in Porto and the first professional school of dance and theatre in Portugal.

A professional company supported by the Ministry of Culture and the Porto City Council, with its own auditorium, training centre and professional school. It performed in Portugal, Spain, Italy, the United Kingdom, Brazil and the United States.
